The Conclave of WHO?
This guild was founded by players who enjoy quality time on-line, and despise noobish behavior above all else. Most of us have heavy lifes outside or Norrath, and we like to get home, log onto EQ2, and have some fun. In our opinion, the greatest fun is achieved during raids. Wipe after wipe, night after night, we work our way to victory. Achieving victory takes dedication, discipline and deference. This is the core idea behind our guild. Everything else revolves around these three principles. If you understand and embrace this, you will have a great time among us, and we will enjoy having you around. If not, you should not bother us.
This is a video game. Most people play video games to have fun, relax, etc, and we’re no exception. Our vision of fun involves beating raid mobs. But if you have to stop smiling for that to happen, it no longer makes sense.

Happy New Year
From everyone at CoS, a very happy new year. The past year was the year of our conception and our growth. We are now an established guild on Runnyeye, but we’re not done. Not by very far.
Recruitment
As players come and go, for diverse reasons, we have found a few new openings over the roster. We’re currently actively looking to fill spots with:
Even so, we’re always interested in hearing from dedicated people.
Progress
Our progress has basically been nonexistent since we cleared VP. The constant variation of the roster has made teamwork rather hard to achieve. However, the apparent lack of efficiency has made us more creative, and the veterans more focussed. I personally see this as progress of a sort SOE can’t wipe away with a new level cap. And I’m proud of it. We’re getting there.
Shooting Higher
Just recently, we cleared VP2 and brought the CGYM campaign to a premature end. The campaign was a huge success. Many got their myths, a few of our own members included, and many talented players joined our ranks.
While we are still seeking a few more spots to be covered on the roster, we are now dedicating to gear everyone up before we start to seriously hit TSO x4 raid content. WoE, SoH and the very lowest TSO x4 content are targets right now. Hopefully, we can get everyone geared properly within 4 weeks.
We have also decided to acquire a Guild Connect account for the guild, which will hopefully ease communication a bit. I’m very fond myself of the global timer/trigger system, and the shared parses.
The site now runs on Merb edge and Datamapper 0.10.1, which should increase performance and reliability by a fair amount, while introducing some features that I was eagerly awaiting to play with.
CoS gets your Mythical
The summer is over, and players start pouring back into the semi-dead servers. It’s time for us to emerge as the next raiding guild. One of the ventures we’ve thought of to get our name around, is this campaign.
The Conclave gets your Mythical!
We started this week, beating the first tier of ROK with ease yawn. Next up the agenda: Mr Mayong, Sir Overking, and Bro Venril, this Sunday 20th. If you need any of these, make sure to grab a spot while they’re hot. And if not, come anyway, we’ll have fun. Promise.
We have plans to hit The Big Dildo on Monday 21st, and head into VP from there.
This is obviously aimed at recruitment. But don’t be scared, you won’t be forced to join us (although resistance is futile, of course). However, for those who want to join (see Trialist Information), these raids will count as your trial raid.
Stay tuned. We’ll be shouting in 1-9 and 70-79 for a while prior to the raids. Just contact any of Ardra, Sslith or myself (Agustina) to grab a spot.
Read the rules
We expect everyone to know and agree with our rules (see Mythical Updates) for this campaign.
Happy myth grabbing!
Conclave of Shadows clears WoE on first run!
On it’s first night of raiding, Conclave of Shadows emerged victorious, clearing Ward of Elements with a newly founded raidforce. Firstpulls included Imperator Ignus, Gelidus Ventus, Khost Alur and Digg, with only a few issues on Dayakara that were fixed with a quick player swap between groups. Grush went down hard and fast, while Aiden gave us a few problems, he went down on our 5th pull due to a few resets. Overall, a GREAT first raid, congratulations to the winners. Here’s to many more raids like it!
